The Tri-State Hospital Surgery Department provides service with a staff of highly skilled nurses, technicians and anesthesia personnel.
With approximately 26 surgeons on staff and four fully-equipped surgery suites, Tri-State’s Surgery Department provides surgical services for a broad range of patients, to include infants, children, adolescents, and adults; along with a full range of surgical services, including General, Orthopedic, Urological, Gynecological, Ear Nose and Throat, and Peripheral vascular surgery.
Our state-of-the-art facility allows Tri-State surgeons to perform both invasive and laparoscopic surgeries in addition to MAKO Smart Robotics, and DaVinci Surgical Systems.
Job Description: Identifies patients’ needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients in the Operating Room.
Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
Provides for patient care as a Circulating and /or Scrub Nurse and teacher to ensure safe and therapeutically effective nursing care.
Uses skills in nursing assessment to recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
Schedule is based on the needs of the department.
Participates in Call Coverage.
Peri-Operative AORN course available to support new graduate, or those without surgical experience wishing to apply.
90 day paired preceptorship with experienced surgical Registered Nurse.

Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
License or eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington.
Current BLS at time of hire.
Surgical experience preferred but not required.
