The Registered Nurse performs all procedures of dialysis and related patient care and participates in the training program for home dialysis and self-care under the supervision of the Director of Dialysis; provides chronic dialysis care and treatment, training, and education; evaluates patients, communicates with physician and other members of the care team to interpret, adjust, and complete patient assessments and care plans; teaches skills, techniques, and procedures; and assists in research studies; provide safe, effective delivery of patient care as overseen by the physician in compliance with standards outlined in the facility procedure manual, as well as regulation set forth by the company, state and federal agencies.
Education
Associate's degree or Bachelors in healthcare administration or equivalent college coursework preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
Active RN license in the State of Washington
Current American Heart Association's BLS/CPR certification card upon hire
Experience
Two (2) years nursing experience
Skills and Abilities
Medical Terminology
Experience with office assessments necessary
Experience using computers and computer applications
