A Retail Cashier performs daily tasks at the store including shelving, stocking, and similar in-store duties to ensure patrons have a satisfying shopping experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet customers, answer their queries, and assist them when selecting and finding merchandise.
Monitor those in the store to help ensure loss prevention.
Properly display all store products and place them in an organized manner so that customers can find them easily.
Perform the checkout process and conduct all transactions and duties related to billing and payment at the store counter.
Have the ability and knowledge to answer customer questions related to information, including availability of products.
Maintain the overall look of the store and ensure that it is clean, restocked, and properly organized.
Maintain product records and inventory and ensure that the process of re-ordering is smooth.
