Quality Behavioral Health is seeking a full time Case Manager/Counselor for their Substance Use Disorder program.
This person will collaborate with other departments, as well as outside Agencies, to help build and maintain an engaging treatment environment.
Case Management includes referrals and coordination of treatment, identifies and reduces barriers of treatment, and coordinates inpatient placement referrals for the SUD Program.
Applicants willing to work towards getting SUDP License, and have a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice, with courses in Addition Study preferred.
Job Description (Once SUDPt educational requirements are met)
* Provide assessment, evaluation, education, treatment, and case management to chemically dependent and substance abusing persons in individual and group formats including intensive outpatient programs.
* Conduct diagnostic evaluations/assessments in accordance with WAC and agency standards, policies and procedures with clinical supervision in Asotin and Garfield Co.
* Clinical documentations, case management, supervision, meetings, and other collateral responsibilities in Asotin Co.
and Garfield Co.

Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling services to individuals, families, or groups
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy
- Utilize behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as psychiatrists or social workers, to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions and progress
Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in counseling or a related field
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis and billing purposes
- Experience in behavior management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
