*Position Summary:* The Radiation Therapist, an ARRT Registered Therapist, administers radiation therapy as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
Interacting with patients, physicians, nurses, families, and co-workers is integral to this role, requiring excellent interpersonal communication skills.
The position involves caring for all age groups from newborns to geriatrics.
*Minimum Requirements:*
* High School Diploma or GED
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
* Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a Radiation Therapist
* In-depth knowledge of department functions and the purpose of radiation therapy
* Ability to explain radiation therapy to various stakeholders
* Prior experience in a Radiation Oncology Department (desirable but not required)
*Work Hours:* 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday
